Luxembourg: Luxembourg
The capital of Luxembourg is called just like the country: Luxembourg. 115,200 people live here. It is also the largest city in the country. It’s in the south. Incidentally, it is called Stad Lëtzebuerg in Luxembourgish and Ville de Luxembourg in French. The Luxembourgers themselves usually only speak of D`Stad.
The city of Luxembourg is (besides Brussels and Strasbourg) also the administrative seat of the European Union. This means that important authorities can be found here, such as the European Court of Justice.
